It seems like every month, Oreo comes out with a brand-new flavor variation for their amazing cookies. Now, pop singer Lady Gaga will earn her own special Oreos, all for her forthcoming album!

Believe it or not, Oreos first came out way back in 1912. The company has continued to gain fame and fans all over the world, in part due to its innovation. While Oreo has always sold its classic version, of which it makes over 40 billion a year, they have always also brought new flavors and types to the masses. Some Oreo variations, like Double Stuff, Golden, and Mint, have even become supermarket staples! While some have flopped hard, like Fruit Punch Oreos, others like Birthday Cake and Red Velvet have gone on to become cult cookie classics.
Now, Oreo will unveil one of the few celebrity-themed cookies ever. That's right, Lady Gaga will earn her own version of Oreo. Based on the singer's new album, Chromatica, the Oreos will feature a hot pink wafer cookie, matched with a neon-green, vanilla cream. What a fantastic combination!

To announce the new Oreo, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to open the first pack ever produced. Along with the video, the singer also announced a campaign, "Sing It With Oreo," alongside the cookie company. The goal of the campaign is to "spread musical messages of kindness throughout the country" during the hard times of the pandemic. On the official website, anyone can send musical messages to those they cherish the most in this world. "Whether it's to show support, share affirmations, well wishes or congratulatory messages, Lady Gaga OREOgrams are designed to inspire kindness," Oreo said of the musical messages.
Meanwhile, if one participates, they are also entered to win quite the Lady Gaga prize pack. The first-place prize includes a whole box of Gaga merchandise, concert tickets to the singer's next tour, and backstage passes to a meet and greet! Talk about the ultimate Lady Gaga experience!
While "monsters," the term used for Lady Gaga's fans, loved the design of the cookies, most have said that they don't taste that different from regular Oreos. Still, many are excited to eat them and support not only their favorite singer, but their loved ones, during these challenging times.
