While Dr. Pepper remains best know for its original, 23-flavored soda, it has released some other varieties over the years, most notably the cherry variety. Now, though, the brand wants to bring back a blast-from-the-past that only the biggest soda fans will remember: Berries & Cream. Originally, the flavor remained on store shelves from April 2006 until the spring of 2007. In 2022, nearly two decades later, the limited-edition hit will return to the soda company's lineup!
If you need a refresher - pun intended - the Berries & Cream variety features a sweetly satisfying blend of raspberry and blueberry flavors. To balance out the sweetness, Dr. Pepper also included hints of vanilla, resulting in a refreshing, creamy drink that fans instantly loved back in 2006. "Berries & Cream is back with that smooth Dr. Pepper taste. It's got a punch of blueberry and raspberry flavor with a rich creamy vanilla finish," the description reads on the brand's website.
Why has Dr. Pepper decided to bring back the drink now? It might have something to do with the fact that a commercial for Starburst's also defunct "Berries and Cream" flavor recently became a hit on TikTok. While the Dr. Pepper flavor and Starburst candy have nothing to do with each other, there's no question that the hashtag #BerriesAndCream has blown up in the past few months. And the soda company is seizing the opportunity!

To enter the sweepstakes, you must be a member of Dr. Pepper's loyalty program, Pepper Perks. The good news? You can quickly sign up for Pepper Perks on the brand's website. Once you have signed up for the loyalty program, you will receive an offer for one entry into the giveaway. And everyone will have the same chance, as there's a maximum of one entry per person. Afterward, winners will receive an email letting them know if they have won.
