In case you didn't know, while Disney parks may have popularized POG juice, it actually comes from Hawaii. POG stands for Passionfruit-Orange-Guava juice. Many drink the juice on its own; however, it can also make for a great cocktail mixer. Mimosas taste excellent with POG juice, for instance!

While the Disney parks in Florida and California made the juice very popular, it has become the staple drink at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa located in Hawaii. However, given the COVID-19 lockdown, traveling to the resort simply is not an option right now. Neither is visiting Disneyland! So, people have become quite desperate for a drink of their favorite POG juice. Karen McClintock not only works as the food manager for all Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, but also runs the company's food blogs. When she heard that families wanted the Disney Parks POG juice, she felt more than happy to oblige with a recipe for 12 cups of juice – enough for the whole family! "This recipe has been converted from a larger quantity in the restaurant kitchens. The flavor profile may vary from the restaurant's version," the posting read. Ingredients are relatively simple: 4 cups of passion fruit juice, 4 cups of orange juice, and 4 cups of guava juice. Then mix it all in a gallon container, and you're set to go!

"This recipe is a quick and easy mix and a great morning pick-me-up. It's bursting with tropical flavors and will make you feel like you're relaxing on the sandy beaches of Hawai'i," McClintock continued. "Add in a paper umbrella and an orange slice garnish for the ultimate tropical experience! Aloha!"

Of course, this is just one of the recipes that the Disney Parks have released since the coronavirus pandemic began. Recently, the company also unveiled how to make its churros and even its legendary Dole Whip. Certainly enough to keep everyone busy until the vaccines are fully delployed!
