From Apple Pie and Cherry to Chocolate and Peeps-flavored, Pepsi has undoubtedly released a lot of strange flavors over the years. This time around, the company plans on releasing a Cracker Jack-flavored soda. That's right! Perfect for the start of baseball's playoffs, this drink will remind everyone of the classic snack. According to the description, it features a light Pepsi flavor mixed with the caramel, popcorn, and peanut flavors from Cracker Jacks. Without a doubt, it will prepare fans for the big game!
"Pepsi is a brand with a deep legacy in sports and is an endemic part of the ballpark experience," said Todd Kaplan, VP of Marketing for the company. "So we thought it would only be fitting to help fans celebrate the biggest month in baseball with our latest limited-edition drop - Pepsi x Cracker Jack." According to Kaplan, the company worked hard to keep the Pepsi flavor while also blending in that Cracker Jack flavor. Now, he can't wait for fans to taste it!
"We're excited to see fans show their excitement for October baseball by unabashedly singing the timeless baseball anthem, 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' for their shot to get their hands on this unique flavor," he finished by saying. For the competition, baseball fans need to record a video of them singing the sporting classic "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Next, post it to social media, including the hashtags #PepsiSingToScore and #Sweepstakes. In the end, 2,000 lucky fans will win a few cans of the upcoming collaboration.
