Despite a ketchup packet crisis, people in the United States still love their packets of delicious red sauce. However, have you ever noticed that some ketchup always ends up stuck in the corners or bottom of the packet? Well, no more! The Heinz Packet Roller is here to save the day from wasted ketchup!
New Invention – Heinz Packet Roller
Without a doubt, ketchup packets are the weirdest invention ever. In addition to creating a lot of packaging waste, they also waste a lot of ketchup! Every single time you use one, you end up tossing ketchup in the trash because there's some ketchup left in there somewhere. Thankfully, Heinz has the perfect new invention for you ketchup packet lovers out there. Called the Heinz Packet Roller, of course, this new invention will squeeze out every little bit of ketchup in the packet! “The biggest innovation in sauce since the packet itself,” Heinz claimed in the Roller announcement.
Not only will the Heinz Packet Roller help you save every last bit of your favorite red sauce, it also looks great! Modeled just like a small ketchup bottle, this gadget grabs the packet and rolls over it, squeezing everything inside out, be it fries, burger, or just a plate. And don't think you just need to use it on ketchup packets! “Gone are the days of fumbling with ketchup packets, pants ruined by mustard disasters, and minutes taken off your life trying to get to the bottom of that mayo packet,” the webpage states. The item also comes with the packet corner cutter installed - in short, it has everything you need!
Till The Last Drop
“There are few things better than the unmistakable taste of Heinz and enjoying a meal with family and friends,” Ashleigh Gibson, Brand Director, said in a statement. “Our packets bring the magic to mealtime no matter where people are having their burger and fries but squeezing out every drop is no easy feat. We engineered the HEINZ Packet Roller to give fans a whole new way to savor their favorite condiment and ensure the last drop never goes to waste again.”
What we do know is that Heinz is planning to come out with even more ketchup packets this year. More than 12 billion will be produced by the brand in just 12 months. This change is tried to the increased use of takeout and packets of sauce during the COVID-19 pandemic. After all, using this variant is a lot safer during social distancing days. Yet, this doesn’t change the last issue – squeezing ketchup out of a bottle!
So far, Heinz Packet Roller has been on sale starting September 15 at noon EST. Go to HeinzPacketRoller.com in case you still need one, or visit the Primanti’s in Pittsburgh in person.
