If you thought that Taco Bell had any plans to stop with their limited-time offer, think again. This month, fans of Taco Bell can pick up a new version of the biggest sellers for the company: Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos.
Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos Arrive
Yes, you read that right, Taco Bell has decided to put out yet another new version of one of its best-selling cult classics, the Doritos Locos Taco. So, get ready for the Flamin' Hot Ranch Doritos Locos Taco. For those who don't keep up with the junk food world, there's an excellent reason that the fast-food giant decided to release this flavor right now. After all, Doritos just launched Doritos Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Flavored Tortilla Chips to stores all over the nation. While reviews for the newest Doritos flavor have not been stellar, the company plans to continue pushing them, explaining the new Taco Bell deal.
That's not the only reason that Taco Bell unveiled a new Doritos Locos Taco variety, however. It's also the 10th anniversary of the first Doritos Locos Taco launch. That's right! Plus, it's Taco Bell brand's 60th anniversary! The new taco will hit Taco Bell menus nationwide on February 10. There are two versions, one a regular taco, and one a Supreme version, which includes sour cream and tomatoes. As you can see, there are plenty of good reasons for the fast-food giant to release another new item, even after some of the brand's more recent releases have not done so well...
Taco Bell's Menu Changes
The new Doritos Locos Taco is not the only new item on the menu. Taco Bell also plans on releasing a Flamin Hot Cool Ranch variety of the Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch. It features "a Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos shell filled with seasoned beef, spicy ranch sauce, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and melty three-cheese blend between a fluffy flatbread on the outside," for $4.19.
Of course, this is after Taco Bell recently released another new item, the Cantina Crispy Chicken Taco. While fans have enjoyed the Cantina Crispy Chicken Taco, they were less enthusiastic about its predecessor, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich Taco. That taco had a breaded chicken tender in a sort-of pastry bun. The Cantina Crispy Chicken Taco, on the other hand, is more traditional, with lettuce, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes in a soft tortilla. The company even released limited time chicken wings. Hopefully, these new items work out for the brand!
